cardiovascular: Relating to the circulatory system, that is the heart and blood vessels.

heart: A muscular organ that pumps blood through the body, traditionally thought to be the seat of emotion.

arteries: blood vessel that conveys blood from the heart to any part of the body

veins: the system of branching vessels or tubes conveying blood from various parts of the body to the heart.

digestive system: A system of organs for the purpose of digesting food.

mouth: The opening of a creature through which food is ingested.

esophagus: The part of the alimentary canal that connects the throat to the stomach; the gullet.

intestines: the lower part of the alimentary canal, extending from the pylorus to the anus

endocrine system: A control system of ductless glands that secrete hormones which circulate via the bloodstream to affect cells within specific organs.

hormones: any of various internally secreted compounds, as insulin or thyroxine, formed in endocrine glands, that affect the functions of specifically receptive organs or tissues when transported to them by the body fluids.

immune system: It includes organs such as the thymus, the spleen and lymph nodes; tissue such as bone marrow, and lymphoid tissues such as the tonsils; cells such as lymphocytes including the B cells and T cells, and cell products such as antibodies.

integumentary system: The skin, feathers and other outer coverings of an animal.

lymphatic system: In mammals, including humans, a network of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes that transport fluid, fats, proteins, and lymphocytes to the bloodstream as lymph, and remove microorganisms and other debris from tissues.

nervous system: An organ system that coordinates the activities of muscles, monitors organs, constructs and processes data received from the senses, and initiates actions.

sex organ: An organ used in sexual reproduction.

respiratory system: The system of organs serving for respiration.

lungs: either of the two saclike respiratory organs in the thorax of humans and the higher vertebrates.

skeleton: The system that provides support to an organism, internal and made up of bones and cartilage in vertebrates, external in some other animals.
