anterior: In front of...the urinary bladder is anterior to the uterus

Posterior: Located behind, or towards the rear of an object. The uterus is posterior to the urinary bladder.

lateral: Pertaining to the left or right of the body; further from the midline. In the anatomical position the radius is lateral to the ulna.

medial: Pertaining to the inside; closer to the midline. The heart is medial to the lungs.

axillary: Of or pertaining to the axilla or armpit; as, axillary gland, artery, nerve.

popliteal: of the area behind the knee.

plantar: Pertaining to the bottom surface (sole) of the foot, as with plantar warts. Compare palmar.
