Search Engine: programs that index millions of sites on the Web and operate with the use of keyword search tools (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc)

Bookmark: a saved shortcut that directs your browser to a specific webpage.

Content Curation: the process of sorting through the vast amounts of content on the web and presenting it in a meaningful and organized way around a specific theme (Pinterest, Symbaloo, Pearltrees, etc.)

Cloud computing: applications and services offered over the Internet. (Prezi, Spiderscribe, Timetoast, Wix, Weebly, etc.)

Sync’ing: short for synchronize. When you sync a device, such as a cell phone, PDA, or iPod, you synchronize it with data on your computer or other storage device.

Download: the process in which data is sent to your computer. (saving images, etc.)

Upload: sending a file from your computer to another system or device.

Virus: programs that can negatively affect the health of your computer.
