marsupial: mammal that gives birth to incompletely developed young that finish developing in their mothers pouch
placental: mammal whose young develops in the female uterus until it is fully formed and ready to be born; has a placenta-a sack like organ- which supplies the embryo with food and oxygen and removes wastes
