Secondary Memory: the amount of disk space available in a storage device. For example megabyte, gigabyte, terabyte, etc.
Icon: a visual representation of something on your computer. Clicking on an icon takes you to a program or file.
Processing: the computer’s action of “thinking”
Network: two or more computers connected to each other. The purpose of a network is to allow the sharing of files and information between multiple systems. For example, the internet.
Internet: a collection of networks created by the U.S. government in 1969.
Browser: an application used to access and view websites. (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari)
Url: Uniform Resource Locator. A URL is the address of a specific Web site or file on the Internet.
