Background: The layer on the screen "farther' from the viewer.

Foreground: The Layer on the screen "closer" to the viewer

Animation: The technique of making inanimate objects or drawings appear to move in motion pictures or computer graphics.

Digitize: To change Information into numbers (0&1) the computer can use

Morphing: Transforming one object into another object

Prodcast: made of the words Ipod and broadcast. An Audio file that is made available on the internet for download and playback using a computer or a Mobile Device.

Digital Photo Story: A Program that allows you to create a multimedia presentation from digital photographers

Graphics: The creation of pictures using a Computer.

Scanner: A Device that coverts art, photography, or other graphic material into pixels that are input into the computer.

Pixels: Tiny dots that make up a pictures.

Resolution: The quality of a picture on the screen (high or low)

DPI: dots per inch. (Alternative spelling of dpi.)

Movie Maker: is a Video creating/editing software, include in Microsoft Window. It contains features such as effects, transitions, titles

Credits: Refers to the creator and/or sources of information used in multimedia presentation.

Digital Camera: An electronic, often battery-powered device for recording and storing photographs in digital format, especially on a flash card.

Storyboard: Graphic organizers such as a series of illustrations of images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion
