conflict: A conflict of a story is the problem in the story. It is the opposing force that faces the main character in the story. It can be external or internal. An internal conflict is within one person. An external conflict is a conflict with two or more characte

development: The process of developing; growth.

extend: To increase in extent.

provide: To act to prepare for something.

simile: A figure of speech in which one thing is compared to another, in the case of English generally using like or as.

metaphor: (rhetoric) The use of a word or phrase to refer to something that it isn’t, invoking a direct similarity between the word or phrase used and the thing described, but in the case of English without the words like or as, which would imply a simile.

idiom: A manner of speaking, a way of expressing oneself. A phrase of words that has a different meaning than what the words truly mean by themselves.

central: being the most important

convince: To make someone believe, or feel sure about something, especially by using logic, argument or evidence.

convey: To communicate; to make known.

dramatic: Striking in appearance or effect.

evident: obviously true by simple observation

phrase: A word or group of words that functions as a single unit in the syntax of a sentence, usually consisting of a head, or central word, and elaborating words.

impact: To influence; to affect; to have an impact on.

accuracy: The state of being accurate; freedom from mistakes, this exemption arising from carefulness; exact conformity to truth, or to a rule or model; exactness; nicety; correctness

Reveal: To uncover; to show and display that which was hidden.
