National Convention: A meeting of the major figures in a political party to outline a party platform, set party rules, select a nominee for president as well as rally supporters.
Electoral College: A body of electors empowered to elect someone to a particular office.
Chief of Staff: The senior staff officer of a service or command.
Cabinet: Ministers who are individually and collectively responsible to the legislature.
