Globalization/localization: The growing interconnections of the world's peoples and the integration of economies, technologies, and some aspects of cultures.
Localization=The exact opposition a striving to protect unique qualities of a particular place/culture
Map Scale: The relationship of horizontal ground distance to map distance, quoted as a fraction (1/10,000) or as a ratio (1:10,000) in which one unit on the map represents 10,000 units on the ground.
